Makhani pasta

Ingredients

1 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2cup sliced onions
1/4cup cashewnuts
2 whole dry red chillies
1/2cup water
2tbsp butter
1tsp ginger garlic paste
1 cinnamon stick
1tsp kasuri methi crushed
1tsp garam masala
2tbsp tomato puree
Salt to taste
1/4cup water
1/4cup white sauce
1cup boiled pasta

Method

Heat oil in a kadai add cinnamon stick, dry red chilli,chopped onion,saute till onion turns transculent
Then add ginger garlic paste and cook till raw smell goes away
Now add cashew nuts and cook till golden brown in color.
Then add chopped tomatoes and cook till it becomes pulpy
Now add salt and water and keep the mixture and let it cool.
Then make a smooth paste of it
Now heat butter in a kadai add the makhani paste and cook till oil seperates and then add tomato puree and cook for 5 mins
Then add white sauce to it and mix well till everything is well combined.
Now add kasuri methi,pasta,garam masala and cook for a min.
Then add 1/4cup water and cook in a meduim low flame for 5mins.
Serve hot
