Malai kofta



Ingredients

2medium sized onion chopped
2mediun sized tomatoes chopped
2-3 green chillies
1tbsp ginger paste
2tbsp garlic paste
4-5medium sized boiled and peeled potatoes
100gm paneer
Cornflour 4tbsp
Salt to taste
Almonds chopped few
10-15 cashew soaked in warm milk
Oil to deep fry
Cumin seeds 1tsp
Cinnamon stick 1inch
Oil 2tbsp
Garam masala 1tsp
Cumin powder 1tsp
Amchur powder 1tsp
Kitchenking masala 1tsp
Fresh malai/cream 2tbsp
Red chilli powder 2tsp
Coriander powder 1tsp
Haldi powder 1/4tsp
Water as required

Method

1.mash the potatoes,crumble the paneer,add cornflour,salt and make a dough.
2.now make small balls out of the dough and stuff chopped almonds in the kofta,the dough should not be sticky

3.roll the bolls in the cornflour and deep fry the kofta in a medium flame.



4.make a paste of onion,ginger,garlic,green chilli and keep aside.
5.make a paste of tomato and keep aside.
6.make a paste of soaked cashew and keep aside.
7.Now mix all the paste and spieces except the cream  and  strain the paste to make a smooth paste,if require add some water to it and completely strain the paste in a bowl and make a smooth paste.


8.now heat oil in a kadai add Cinnamon stick and cumin seeds to it and then add the smooth running paste and cook in a medium low flame.

9.stir occassionally and cook for about 10-15mins till the raw smell of onion and other spieces goes away and oil seperates.
10.Now add the fresh cream and mix well.cook for another 2-3mins.

11.malai kofta gravy is ready to serve.serve the gravy with kofta
